Welcome to the Staten Island Branch!
The Staten Island Branch of the New York State AAUW was formed in 1962. Originally founded as the Staten Island University Women’s Club, we affiliated with AAUW more than 50 years ago. Our branch lives the AAUW Mission, serving the entire island of over 500,000 people from St. George on the north shore to Tottenville on the south. The Branch is a diverse group of women of all ages and interests. We often partner with other community groups on Staten Island such as New York State Women, Inc., the Sisterhood, and Staten Island OutLOUD.
Our monthly programs are designed to interest our members and to attract prospective members from the community and other organizations. Our special interest groups offer something for every member. For questions about programs, contact Susan C.- (718) 219-6740.
